Well, after having some time to let the Chancellor Gee situation settle in, I'm glad he's gone. Sure, he did a great job of elevating VU's academic and athletic reputation, but he's turned out to be the biggest two-face this side of Tuscaloosa.
Here's what Gee said about his decision to come to tOSU:
"I woke up every morning thinking, 'Why am I here?'"
Two weeks ago, after he first rejected tOSU, he said that devotion to Vanderbilt was "unwavering and unshakable."
I'll be perfectly content as long as we find a chancellor who is a great fund raiser and is able to keep VC David Williams. I'm not sure what will happen to the reorganization, but as long as Williams is in charge, VU will be fine athletically.
