99 Years to Get to #1, 30+ hours to lose it

Beating Tennessee in anything is great. Beating Tennessee who was ranked #1 for the first time ever just some 30 hours after reaching that apex is indescribable, and doing so with AJ Ogilvy playing 12 minutes is even more unbelievable. Simply put, Shan Foster was awesome- 32 points on 13 shots is about as efficient as you can get. Jermaine Beal deserves high praise as well for consistently breaking Tennessee's press and playing great D on Lofton in the second half by consistently staying in front of him and forcing him to take contested shots. Keegan Bell was also very good in a reserve role (save the missed free throws) but nothing was more important than his save of Shan's pass with under 2 seconds left.

Ah, memories (even recent ones). Makes up for the disappointment of missing this week's midweek game.
